He graduated in Production Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy, one of the top engineering schools in India and went on to obtain an MBA from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, which ranks among the top five business schools in India.
Karthik then worked for Tata Steel, India's largest integrated private sector steel company where he focused on quality improvements in the service sector. At Tata Steel, Karthik was part of the key group that worked on the quality standards that ultimately brought in the ISO 9000 certification. Karthik himself is a lead assessor for ISO 9000 certification, certified by the British Standards Institute. Later, Karthik joined the Maxworth group, where his responsibilities included consulting on Business Process Reengineering and exploring internet applications for businesses. Before co-founding Mobius, Karthik was an entrepreneur being the country’s first franchisee of a kids computer learning and later became the Master licensee for an American company, setting up close to 100 franchises across the country.

He has a B.S. from Loyola College, Chennai and a M.S. in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York.
As part of the Dalmia business family, he is actively engaged in managing their cements and sugar businesses. He brings a ton of experience in managing new projects and business expansion. His ability to keep the focus on the financial parameters to ensure that the end goals are met is a definitive strength he brings to Mobius.
Vice President, Business Development.
He leads the division’s organic growth and M&A initiatives, and the sales, marketing and communications functions. He is responsible for current businesses from Online Retailers, E-Marketplaces and Comparison Shopping Engines. He is additionally responsible for business expansion into new verticals and technologies, focused on a sustainable business portfolio.
Roger took over this role after having spent over 16 years in International Business Development across IDM (a subsidiary of HCL), HOPE, Infotech Enterprises and DrikTech LLC. He has been instrumental in developing strategic customer relationships with several top Fortune 500 companies including Ford Motor Co, Pratt & Whitney, Praxair, Dover Corp and Cameron among others. In 2003, Roger co-founded DrikTech LLC, served as President and CEO until its sale to the $150 Million Chicago-based UCA Group in 2009.
From 1999 to 2010, he was based in Michigan-USA. He is currently based in Chennai, India. He is a graduate in Master of Management Studies majoring in Marketing and Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Roger and his wife have a son and a daughter.
