Pollyanna is an auto classifier that uses a stochastic prediction model for the classification of product pages in the internet. It is based on a self learning algorithm that learns each time it classifies a product. Once the product page URL is inserted into the tool, it automatically crawls the URL and uses various statistical and linguistic algorithms to automatically classify the products into the corresponding categories in our taxonomy. We harness the power of Pollyanna in aiding several of our clients manage the millions of offers that they receive every single day.
